We’re thrilled to welcome you to Ruby Stella Hotel & Bar. After much anticipation, our brand-new hotel in Farringdon has officially opened its doors, and we can’t wait to show you what makes it so special. Step into a world where the past meets the present in the heart of one of London’s most storied neighbourhoods.

The Dickens Connection: A Design Story That Inspires

Step into Ruby Stella, and you’ll step into a world inspired by the great Charles Dickens and the dynamic spirit of Farringdon. This vibrant neighbourhood, once home to Dickens himself, played a key role in shaping his stories, particularly The Pickwick Papers. Known for its playful humour and sharp observations of Victorian society, the novel’s contrasts – between opulence and grit, whimsy and depth – are woven into every corner of Ruby Stella’s design.

A cozy, dimly lit restaurant with wooden tables and chairs, red table lamps, bookshelves, indoor plants, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The hotel’s interiors celebrate the art of storytelling, much like Dickens did. From textured leathers and rustic metal details to polished woods and warm fabrics, the design reflects the charm and contradictions of 19th-century London. Look closely, and you’ll find nods to Dickens’ world: whimsical quills and monocles, handcrafted elements inspired by Farringdon’s bookbinding legacy, and vintage touches that echo the area’s artisanal roots.

Ruby Stella isn’t just a place to stay – it’s a space to immerse yourself in history reimagined for the modern traveller. Whether you’re sipping cocktails in the bar or enjoying a quiet moment in your room, the spirit of Dickens and the creative energy of Farringdon are all around you, making every stay a story worth telling.

A cozy cafe with a long brown leather booth, wooden tables and chairs, and a wall of shelves filled with books, plants, and eclectic decor. Warm lighting and a ladder add to the inviting, vintage atmosphere.
