Ruby Molly Hotel & Bar

A stylish bar with wooden furniture, a well-lit counter, bottles on display, and a large decorative strawberry surrounded by plants in the foreground. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Country charm meets city chic

A stone's throw from the banks of the River Liffey, Ruby Molly may be a newcomer, but she's channelling some serious 19th-century charm. For over a century, the area was home to a lively fruit and veg market. With fresh produce arriving daily on horse-drawn carts, the surrounding streets were abuzz with traders and shoppers, swapping tales of town and country.

Inspired by this meeting of rural and urban, we've created an inviting space to meet and mingle with folk from near and far. Join us in the bar for some great music, settle in and take our signature cocktails for a spin. And when it's time to unwind, each room is a haven of Lean Luxury calm, designed with sleep experts to help you drift off after a busy day in the city.

A short walk from the river and ten minutes from Temple Bar, Ruby Molly's a great base for exploring Dublin. The Guinness Storehouse is a 25-minute stroll away, as is pretty Phoenix Park. The airport's around 40 minutes away by bus, with stops not far from our front door.

  • A stylish vintage-themed lounge with eclectic armchairs, sofas, wooden furniture, lamps, and a guitar on display, set on a raised platform with warm lighting and dark walls.
  • A cozy, vintage-style lounge with wooden furniture, colorful rugs, a large chandelier, and a bookshelf filled with baskets and decor, separated by glass-paneled doors. Warm lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere.
  • A glass of beer and a cocktail garnished with a dried lime slice sit on a wooden table in a dimly lit bar, with a large decorative strawberry and greenery in the background.
  • Minimalist hotel room with a floating bed, white linens, wood headboard, and wall-mounted baskets as decor. A glass-enclosed shower is visible to the right, with natural light from a large window on the left.
  • A modern red armchair with curved backrest and seat, upholstered in velvet fabric, featuring four angled wooden legs, set against a plain white background.

Urban gloss meets rural grit

For over a century, our neighbourhood north of the Liffey has been home to one of Dublin's largest covered markets. As a meeting place for people from across the city and the countryside beyond, it inspired us to create a space of contrasts. Urban gloss meets rural grit as plush fabrics, marble and glass are set off by distressed leather, vintage tiles and blackened steel. And, to create a cosy pub vibe, we've created lots of comfy nooks and niches, overlooked by cartwheels, baskets and market wares.
