Good to know

How do I get to Ruby Claire?

Our address is Rue du Rhône 46, 1204 Geneva, but you'll find the entrance on Passage Malbuisson.


You'll find the entrance to Passage Malbuisson next to the Boghossian jewellery shop at Rue du Rhône 42. 


Otherwise, head to Rue du Marché 5, where there's another entrance between the Clarence watch shop and the Läderach chocolatier. Then follow your nose to Ruby Claire.


Geneva's main station is a 12-minute walk away, or two stops on the tram. From there, you can be at the airport in under ten minutes by train.

Is there anywhere to park?

We don't have our own car park, but Ruby Claire guests get an exclusive 20% discount at Parking du Mont-Blanc, just a few minutes’ walk from our front door.


Simply park your car, take a ticket, then ask a Ruby host to stamp it. Your discount will be applied when you leave the car park.

How to I get my Geneva Transport Card?

Guests at Ruby Claire are entitled to a complimentary Geneva Transport Card, which is emailed to them 24 hours before arrival. This card allows you to use trains, trams, buses, and boats in the city at no cost. Please note, the city of Geneva oversees the issuance and distribution of these cards.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 11am.


If you arrive before 3pm, we'll do our best to find you a room. Otherwise, we'll happily look after your bags while you go exploring or grab a drink.


Fancy a lie in? Just ask our hosts for late check-out options when you arrive.


To check in, look for the screen at the bar and tap in your details. Your key card will pop out the slot and you can head straight to your room. If you need any help, just ask.


There's no need to check out. Simply leave your key card at the bar or in the drop box. We'll send the invoice for your stay to the email address you used when booking.

Can I bring my dog to the hotel?

Vacation with your dog? Absolutely – at Ruby, you can enjoy your best travel moments with your loyal companion. The process is simple: choose your desired hotel, select the Wow Room category, and book a spot for your four-legged friend. Your dog can stay for 50 CHF per stay.


Since you know best what your furry friend likes, feel free to bring along treats, toys, a bed, and other favorite items.

What are the opening times of the roof terraces?

Our two pretty roof terraces are open from Sunday to Wednesday from 06:00 am to 01:00 am, and from Thursday to Saturday from 06:00 am to 02:00 am. Escape the city buzz, spend a lazy afternoon basking with a book above the rooftops of Geneva, and unwind after a long day with a refreshing cocktail.

Left something behind? We'll do our best to reunite you. Just fill in our lost and found form and our housekeeping team will check if it's been handed in.


We can store your lost item for up to six months after your check-out date. After that, we’ll need to make room for the lost treasures of other guests and dispose of any unclaimed belongings. Thank you for your understanding.
