Our award-winning building is packed with cutting-edge green technology. From geothermal energy generation and a smart façade, to the use of recycled materials like carpet made from former fishing nets, energy efficiency is at the heart of Ruby Emma's design.

To make the most of natural heat and light, the intelligent façade's 819 moveable panels adjust to regulate the temperature of each individual room. So, on bright winter days they open to let in the warmth. On hot summer days, they close to keep things cool, saving energy all year round.

Our building was the first hotel in Europe to be awarded LEED Platinum status. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification is a global symbol of sustainability achievement, and we're proud to be leading the way on the continent.
