The Caribbean is calling, so get ready for a warm welcome and sunshiny vibes at Ruby Zoe.
Influenced by cultures from the West Indies and beyond, Notting Hill is one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
From the pastel shades of Portobello Road to the annual Carnival parade, there’s colour and character around every corner.
Drawing inspiration from island life, the bar at Zoe is a blend of bold shades, warm textures and sun-bleached surfaces.
You may even spot a steelpan or two, alongside speakers that give carnival its extra oomph.
Upstairs, Zoe’s rooms are all styled with Lean Luxury touches, including a big, comfy bed, aromatherapy Ruby Care products, and soft, fluffy towels. There’s also a Marshall amp to give your calypso beats a boost.
Notting Hill Gate station is a three-minute walk away, from where the main sights are a short hop by tube.
St Pancras International is less than 20 minutes away, and you can be at Heathrow Airport in around half an hour.
Inspired by Notting Hill’s Caribbean connections, our bar is a vibrant spot to stop for a drink.
From brightly coloured shutters and intricate panelling, to rough-hewn surfaces and sun-bleached wood, there are touches of island life all around.
The rum is flowing, and the ice cream is on tap, so where better to get together with friends?
If you’re not in the mood for dancing, find an armchair in a cosy nook, grab a table, or perch at the bar – there’s a comfy spot for everyone.
Our healthy, locally sourced breakfast buffet with fresh barista coffee and organic tea will set you up for the day ahead.
Tuck into fresh fruit, superfood cereals, wholegrain bread from the local bakery, and a delicious selection of meats and cheeses.
Try our local favourite: rich, comforting porridge to start your day with a warm glow. Top with honey or a dollop of jam, then dive in.
Fancy a drink, forgotten your toothbrush, or need a quick ironing fix? Head to the Galley.
There, you’ll find hot water and free organic tea, along with an ironing board and iron.
There’s also a Maxi Bar where you can buy everything from soft drinks and snacks to an umbrella or a toothbrush.
Music’s a big part of life at Zoe. That’s why you can hire an electric guitar for an impromptu jam, tune into Ruby Radio in your room, and even catch live acts in the bar.
Of course, every musician needs a muse, and ours is London. For hints and tips on the hottest spots, just ask our hosts – they’ll be happy to help.
Loved your stay? Now get the goodies. From tea, coffee, and scented candles to Ruby Care shampoos and shower gels, you’ll find all you need to unwind when you get home.
To recreate the full Lean Luxury vibe, you can even buy our bedding – all of which has been carefully designed with a great night’s sleep in mind.
Since the start, we’ve taken lots of steps to be sustainable. From choosing renewable energy to streamlining systems to reduce paper use, some of it is behind the scenes.
In your room, though, you’ll notice smart lighting and refillable Ruby Care amenity bottles, along with renewable natural materials like wood panelling and flooring. Where possible, we also rescue and restore second-hand furniture to add character and cut our carbon footprint.
We’re lucky enough to have some brilliant local suppliers in our home cities. That means we can keep our food and drink miles down on everything from breakfast treats to beer and wine.
Ideal for lazy weekends, most Lovely rooms at Ruby Zoe have a 160cm-wide bed and some have an armchair as well. Bursting with colour and culture, Notting Hill is one of London’s top spots for a stroll.
A short walk north will take you to the bustling Portobello Road Market. Flanked by pretty pastel terraces, you’ll find stalls selling antiques, trinkets and countless hidden treasures. Grab a coffee and explore, or tuck into street food from every corner of the world.
If it’s greenery you’re after, Ruby Zoe is perched a few minutes’ walk from two of London’s prettiest parks. Head west to Holland Park with its tranquil Kyoto Garden, or chart a course for central London, via Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
Nearby South Kensington is home to some of the city’s top museums. Drop in to rub shoulders with dinosaurs and experience an earthquake at the Natural History Museum, or explore art, architecture and five centuries of fashion at the V&A.
Notting Hill Gate station is a three-minute walk from Zoe. With direct lines to some of London’s biggest sights, you can be at Westminster and the river or St Paul’s Cathedral and the City in under 15 minutes, while the shops of Oxford Street are just five minutes away.
St Pancras International is a short hop by tube. Or, with a quick change en route, you can be at Heathrow Airport in under half an hour.
While we don’t have our own car park, there’s a public one just a nine minutes’ walk from our front door.

Like you, we travel a lot. And wherever we go, we expect three things: a great night’s sleep, a powerful shower and top-notch connections – both to the city and the WiFi.
What we’re less keen on is paying for extras we never use. In dynamic cities bursting with Michelin stars and foodie pop-ups, room service sandwiches just don’t cut the mustard.
So we set out to create the best of both worlds – hotels with style and substance, but none of those expensive extras.
It’s what we call Lean Luxury.
To us, luxury means laid-back comfort in characterful surroundings, right in the heart of the city.
The lean part is all about being smart with space, streamlining things behind the scenes and doing away with the things you don’t need.
This innovative approach saves us and you money, without compromising on comfort.
Please note, bookings of up to nine rooms can only be made online using a valid credit card.
