The Caribbean is calling, so get ready for a warm welcome and sunshiny vibes at Ruby Zoe.
Influenced by cultures from the West Indies and beyond, Notting Hill is one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
From the pastel shades of Portobello Road to the annual Carnival parade, there’s colour and character around every corner.
Drawing inspiration from island life, the bar at Zoe is a blend of bold shades, warm textures and sun-bleached surfaces.
You may even spot a steelpan or two, alongside speakers that give carnival its extra oomph.
Outside, we’re proud to be showcasing a new work by British-Trinidadian visual artist Zak Ové, inspired by the traditions, flair and freedom of carnival and masquerade.
Upstairs, Zoe’s rooms are all styled with Lean Luxury touches, including a big, comfy bed, aromatherapy Ruby Care products, and soft, fluffy towels. There’s also a Marshall amp to give your calypso beats a boost.
Notting Hill Gate station is a three-minute walk away, from where the main sights are a short hop by tube.
St Pancras International is less than 20 minutes away, and you can be at Heathrow Airport in around half an hour.
Bursting with colour and culture, Notting Hill is one of London’s top spots for a stroll.
A short walk north will take you to the bustling Portobello Road Market. Flanked by pretty pastel terraces, you’ll find stalls selling antiques, trinkets and countless hidden treasures. Grab a coffee and explore, or tuck into street food from every corner of the world.
If it’s greenery you’re after, Ruby Zoe is perched a few minutes’ walk from two of London’s prettiest parks. Head west to Holland Park with its tranquil Kyoto Garden, or chart a course for central London, via Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
Nearby South Kensington is home to some of the city’s top museums. Drop in to rub shoulders with dinosaurs and experience an earthquake at the Natural History Museum, or explore art, architecture and five centuries of fashion at the V&A.
Notting Hill Gate station is a three-minute walk from Zoe. With direct lines to some of London’s biggest sights, you can be at Westminster and the river or St Paul’s Cathedral and the City in under 15 minutes, while the shops of Oxford Street are just five minutes away.
St Pancras International is a short hop by tube. Or, with a quick change en route, you can be at Heathrow Airport in under half an hour.
While we don’t have our own car park, there’s a public one just a nine minutes’ walk from our front door.

Like you, we travel a lot. And wherever we go, we expect three things: a great night’s sleep, a powerful shower and top-notch connections – both to the city and the WiFi.
What we’re less keen on is paying for extras we never use. In dynamic cities bursting with Michelin stars and foodie pop-ups, room service sandwiches just don’t cut the mustard.
So we set out to create the best of both worlds – hotels with style and substance, but none of those expensive extras.
It’s what we call Lean Luxury.
To us, luxury means laid-back comfort in characterful surroundings, right in the heart of the city.
The lean part is all about being smart with space, streamlining things behind the scenes and doing away with the things you don’t need.
This innovative approach saves us and you money, without compromising on comfort.
Please note, bookings of up to nine rooms can only be made online using a valid credit card.
