To help you unwind with complete peace of mind, we’ve made some changes to the way we do things.


From taking extra care with cleaning and making space for social distancing, to delivering breakfast direct to your door, we’re doing all we can to keep everyone healthy and happy.



We’ve also created a new Member Flex Rate for extra flexibility in these uncertain times.

Safe, Sound & Sparkling

We take your safety seriously, so we’re being even more careful than usual with our cleaning. We’ve also made a few other changes, to help keep everyone healthy and happy.


  • Spotless bedrooms – every room is deep cleaned and disinfected between guests.
  • Squeaky clean shared spaces  we regularly clean and disinfect public areas throughout the day.
  • Spotlight on surfaces – all touchschreens, handles and buttons are cleaned at least once an hour.
  • Hand sanitiser on tap – you’ll find touch-free dispensers at the bar, at check-in and in the WCs.
  • Brand new key cards – your key card will be freshly made for your stay.
  • Face masks and screens – for extra peace of mind, we’ve put up screens and are wearing face masks.
  • Fewer seats for extra space – sadly, that means no bar stools for now - sorry.
  • Cashless and quick – we can only accept card and contactless payments at the bar.
  • Fresh barista coffee at the bar – you can also pick up free tea or instant coffee in the Galley.
  • Breakfast delivered to your door – tuck in to our new pick-me-up breakfast in bed or on the go.
  • Get a taste of the neighbourhood – our favourite local restaurants are now delivering their top dishes.
  • Certified water quality – just the same as always.

For your safety and ours, all of our infection-control measures meet B·A·D’s Covid-19 occupational safety standard.

Pick-Me-Up Breakfast

Wake up to our new breakfast

Good news: we’re still serving up our tasty breakfast treats at Ruby.

Instead of our usual buffet though, we’re delivering a delicious selection of morning favourites direct to our guests’ doors. This temporary change means we can keep everyone safe and socially distanced, but still well-fed and watered.

The team at Ruby has carefully designed the menu, which is then prepared by the talented chefs at Jean-Jacques De Messier. Everything is made and packaged in the safety of their professional kitchen, using only the best and freshest ingredients. It’s then delivered at dawn, ready for when our guests wake up.

What's Inside

Our menu changes slightly every day, but here's a little taster:

• Fresh fruit salad
• An apple or a banana
• A soya yoghurt with caramelised berries, Greek yoghurt with honey and oats or a chia pot with mango
• Two freshly made sandwiches – one with chicken, ham or salami, plus a veggie option with hummus or vegetables
• A hard-boiled egg
• Banana bread, carrot cake or lemon and poppy seed cake
• Freshly squeezed apple or orange juice
• An invigorating ginger shot

You’re still welcome to grab a table in the bar. Otherwise, hit the city with a picnic or just dive back under the duvet for breakfast in bed.


How to Order

If you’ve already booked breakfast, there’s no need to do anything.

If you didn’t add breakfast to your booking, you’ll find a door hanger in your room. Simply pop it on the outside handle before 10pm and we’ll bring you breakfast. We’ll charge €18/£18 to the card you booked with, then email you a receipt.

We’ll deliver your Pick-Me-Up Breakfast at 6.30am, but early birds can collect theirs from the bar from 5.30am.

Fresh barista coffee by Hausbrandt and Samova tea is available at the bar as usual, and you’ll find our teas in the Galley, along with instant coffee.
