L’endroit où se trouve aujourd’hui Ruby Leni abritait autrefois l’un des plus grands théâtres d’Europe. En fait, Ruby Leni tire son nom d’Helena dans le Faust de Goethe. Rappelant l’époque des feux de la rampe, nous avons mis en scène des accessoires et des costumes anciens, ainsi que des lignes épurées, des tissus moelleux et des pièces vintages soigneusement choisies.

Quoi voir et quoi faire

Que vous soyez en ville pour le travail ou pour le plaisir, Dusseldorf ne vous décevra pas. Le mieux, c’est que tous les sites les plus intéressants se trouvent à quelques pas de Ruby Coco, Ruby Leni et Ruby Luna. Alors, allons explorer.

Centre ville

Si c’est l’histoire qui vous intéresse, la vieille ville est un bon point de départ. Vous y trouverez de jolis bâtiments, des ruelles pavées pittoresques et la légendaire flèche torsadée de la basilique Saint-Lambert, ainsi que des galeries d’art et un ou deux musées. Lorsque vous serez prêt à étancher votre soif, dirigez-vous vers le Rhin. Par une journée ensoleillée, la promenade au bord de la rivière est difficile à battre. Asseyez-vous, commandez une Altbier et regardez le monde – et les bateaux – passer. Si vous voulez quelque chose de plus consistant, retournez vers la très animée Carlsplatz, où les gourmands peuvent se régaler de tout, de la currywurst au champagne de qualité.

Shopping

Une fois l’énergie retrouvée, faites du lèche-vitrine lors de votre prochaine étape. Königsallee (aussi appelée la Kö) est sans doute la rue la plus élégante d’Allemagne. Bordée de boutiques et de grands noms, c’est un paradis pour observer la vie urbaine, même si votre budget ne vous permet pas d’acheter des souvenirs de créateurs.

Vie nocturne

À l’approche du soir, les possibilités de dîner sont presque infinies. Si vous avez envie d’une atmosphère plus vivante, ne manquez pas les pubs conviviaux de la Ratinger Straße. Surnommé « le plus long bar du monde », il s’agit de l’une des plus anciennes rues de la ville et de l’endroit idéal pour déguster un autre verre de bière locale. Santé !
