Francfort est peut-être célèbre pour sa ligne d’horizon futuriste, ses institutions financières et ses gigantesques foires commerciales, mais c’est aussi l’endroit idéal pour faire le plein de culture, faire du shopping et se détendre en buvant un verre ou deux au bord de la rivière. 


Ruby Louise se trouve entre les gratte-ciel du quartier des banques et la vieille ville historique. Vous pouvez donc marcher d’un pas décidé avec les hommes d’affaires ou siroter un café sur une place paisible à quelques minutes de votre chambre.

Ruby Louise, qui doit son nom à Louise Rothschild, dont il est bien connu que l’empire financier familial a pris naissance à Francfort, allie l’élégance du XIXe siècle à des accents urbains. S’inspirant de son élégance, nous avons combiné les lignes épurées et les courbes douces du style Biedermeier avec des graffitis et de l’art moderne pour créer une atmosphère digne de Mainhattan.  

  • Formidable pour : trouver la paix au cœur de la ville 
  • Les coups de cœur locaux : faire du shopping sur la Zeil, s’arrêter pour déguster un apfelwein dans la vieille ville pittoresque, puis se retirer dans notre Skybar au 7e étage pour un sundowner

Quoi voir et quoi faire

Que vous soyez un habitué ou que vous soyez pour la première fois à Francfort, Ruby Louise est un excellent point de départ pour explorer la ville. Situé entre le quartier des banques et la vielle ville, vous pourrez marcher d’un pas décidé avec les hommes d’affaires ou siroter un café sur une place paisible à quelques minutes de votre chambre. 

Centre-ville 

La Main Tower, avec son pont d’observation et ses vues panoramiques, se trouve à trois minutes de marche, tandis que Römerberg, avec ses jolis bâtiments médiévaux dans la vieille ville, est à dix minutes de marche. 

Musées

Si vous avez envie de culture, Museumsufer est incontournable. Les 39 musées rassemblés le long des rives du Main comprennent le musée des beaux-arts Städel, le Musée du film allemand, le Musée des arts appliqués et le Musée allemand de l’architecture. Pour reprendre son souffle ou se percher avec un pique-nique, le Palmengarten et le parc Grüneburg tout proche offrent une échappée verdoyante loin de la ville. 

Shopping

Pour les accros du shopping, les grands magasins et les marques de créateurs du Zeil sont incontournables. Pour les meilleures boutiques, rendez-vous dans la glamour Goethestraße, qui se trouve juste à la porte de la Ruby Louise. 


Et lorsque vous serez prêt à faire le plein, faites un saut au coin de la rue, dans le joli Fressgass, pour un verre d’Apfelwein acidulé, tout en observant les gens.
