Suivant les traces d’une icône autrichienne, Ruby Lissi tire son nom de l’impératrice Elisabeth globe-trotteuse. S’inspirant des nombreux voyages de notre homonyme, nous avons puisé nos idées dans les wagons de chemin de fer, les bateaux à vapeur et les montgolfières, tandis qu’un tableau des départs lance les derniers appels pour des voyages vers des mondes imaginaires.

Ruby Marie
Hotel & Bar

Ruby Marie était à l’origine le premier grand magasin d’Autriche. Des étages élégants proposant tout, de la haute couture aux articles ménagers, étaient visités par la crème de la crème en ville. En clin d’œil à son passé, le bar de Ruby Marie rappelle l’opulence et l’énergie de l’apogée du bâtiment dans les années 1960, avec des lampes de luxe, des canapés rembourrés, des affiches d’époque et des outils de tailleur.

Ruby Sofie
Hotel & Bar

Le bâtiment où se situe Ruby Sofie était à l’origine le Sofiensäle, un grand établissement de bains du XIXe siècle. Grâce à son acoustique exceptionnelle, chanter sous la douche s’est rapidement transformé en concerts et en bals de gala, les plus grands, de Johann Strauss aux Kinks, s’étant produits sur sa scène. S’inspirant de la vie passée de notre héroïne, le décor mêle des affiches vintage, des pochettes de vinyle et un piano à faire tourner les têtes.

Installé dans l’ancienne poste de Vienne, Ruby Paul redonne vie à l’un des plus beaux bâtiments de la ville.


Les grands couloirs voûtés, qui résonnaient autrefois du bruit des chariots postaux, mènent aujourd’hui à des pièces claires et aérées, ornées de timbres, de boîtes aux lettres et de cornes de poste d’époque.


Des hot desks aux bureaux privés, en passant par les tables de coworking, les coins douillets et les salles de réunion tout confort, il y a un endroit pour chaque style de travail.

Quoi voir et quoi faire

Quel que soit votre style lorsque vous séjournez dans une ville, il y a un Ruby pour vous à Vienne. Partant du centre-ville, Vienne est divisée en quartiers, chacun ayant son caractère unique et ses sites incontournables. 

Centre-ville

Le 1er arrondissement, Innere Stadt, est le cœur de la ville et abrite l’Opéra national de Vienne, la cathédrale Saint-Étienne et le palais Hofburg, ainsi que le joli Stadtpark. C’est aussi là que vous trouverez Ruby Lissi. Le moyen le plus simple de voir tous les grands sites est de suivre votre flair (ou de monter dans un tramway) pour faire une boucle de la Ringstraße, qui fait le tour le 1er arrondissement. 


Pour changer de rythme, suivez la rivière vers le sud-est jusqu’à la Landstraße (le 3e arrondissement) et Ruby Sofie. Ce coin tranquille de la ville était autrefois le quartier diplomatique de Vienne. Attendez-vous donc à une architecture opulente et à de nombreux endroits où vous pourrez vous arrêter pour prendre un café et déguster une tarte Sacher. 

Musées

Ne manquez pas de faire un saut au palais du Belvédère pour y découvrir une architecture magnifique et des œuvres d’art exceptionnelles, dont l’emblématique Baiser de Klimt. Les amateurs d’art alternatif ne doivent en aucun cas manquer la maison colorée Hundertwasserhaus et le musée des faux-arts (Fälschermuseum). 


Les amateurs de shopping devraient quant à eux mettre le cap sur le 7e arrondissement, également connu sous le nom de Neubau. Le bâtiment qui abrite Ruby Marie était autrefois un grand magasin, et la rue en contrebas est toujours un paradis pour les amateurs de shopping. Bordée de marques internationales et de boutiques indépendantes, la Mariahilfer Straße est l’endroit idéal pour une cure de shopping. 

Shopping

Lorsque vous aurez envie de changer d’air, revenez vers l’Innere Stadt jusqu’au MuseumsQuartier. Le Musée Leopold, le mumok et le Musée de l’histoire de l’art occuperont les amateurs d’art pendant des heures, tandis que le Musée d’histoire naturelle présente des ossements de dinosaures et des météorites.
