Que vous soyez à la recherche d’architecture médiévale, de cafés agréables et de boutiques haut de gamme, ou de randonnées, de cyclisme et de sports nautiques, Zurich a tout ce qu’il faut pour vous plaire. La ville a peut-être la réputation d’être un centre bancaire statique, mais les habitants savent comment se détendre. Par beau temps, les rives du fleuve et du lac bourdonnent en soirée d’activités et les festivals et fêtes de rue ne manquent pas. En hiver, il y a des photos de cartes postales à chaque tournant et des Glühmost aux pommes épicées pour réchauffer les voyageurs frileux.


Donnant sur une place verdoyante de la vieille ville, Ruby Mimi se trouve à deux pas de la rivière et de la gare centrale de la ville. Avec la vieille ville et le lac à deux pas, et les trains à grande vitesse à proximité, c’est un excellent point de départ pour une escapade en Suisse.

Hotel & Bar

Installé dans ce qui fut l’un des premiers cinémas de Zurich, Ruby Mimi s’inspire de six anciennes stars du grand écran, toutes appelées Mimi. Nous inspirant du Hollywood d’antan, nous avons parsemé notre design d’un peu de magie cinématographique. Du riche mobilier en velours aux caméras, costumes et affiches d’époque, Ruby Mimi met en valeur le dynamisme et le glamour des premiers plateaux de cinéma.

Quoi voir et quoi faire

Ruby Mimi se trouve à deux pas de la rivière Limmat, de la vieille ville de Zurich et des principales rues commerçantes de la ville et constitue donc un formidable point de départ pour les personnes qui viennent pour la première fois et les habitués. Il se trouve également à quelques minutes de marche de la gare centrale.

Shopping

Pour les amateurs de lèche-vitrine ou de shopping, la Bahnhofstrasse est l’endroit idéal. Entre les grandes enseignes et les marques de créateurs, il y en a pour tous les budgets et tous les styles.

Centre ville

Pour les amateurs d’histoire, une courte promenade vers le sud le long de la rivière vous mènera aux rues pavées et aux vieux bâtiments pittoresques de la vieille ville. Outre les nombreuses occasions de prendre des photos, vous trouverez d’excellents restaurants et des cafés accueillants pour refaire vos réserves d’énergie. Pour un goût sucré et légèrement alcoolisé de la Suisse, une délicieuse tranche de zuger kirschtorte devrait faire l’affaire.

Lac de Zurich

Si vous préférez le grand air, Zurich est également à la hauteur. Le lac se trouve à 15 minutes de marche du Ruby Mimi, ou un court trajet en tramway. Sinon, partez à l’assaut des collines avec une randonnée à Uetliberg, tout proche. (Il y a aussi un train, si l’effort vous semble insurmontable.)
