Ruby Louise deve il suo nome a Louise von Rothschild, rampolla della potente famiglia di banchieri che iniziò a costruire l’impero finanziario di Francoforte. In omaggio al temperamento pratico e grintoso della borghesia del XIX secolo, il design di Ruby Louise (in particolare nel suo bar) celebra la sobria eleganza dello stile Biedermeier, associandolo ad audaci e briosi elementi della street art di Brooklyn. Centro città

La Main Tower, con il suo osservatorio panoramico e la splendida vista sulla città, dista tre minuti a piedi, mentre nel giro di dieci minuti si raggiunge la splendida piazza Römerberg nella città vecchia, antico fulcro della vita cittadina, su cui si affacciano i maestosi palazzi delle antiche residenze borghesi.

Musei

Per gli amanti della cultura le opzioni non mancano di certo: il Museumsufer è una tappa obbligata, mentre lungo le rive del Meno sono ben 39 i musei da visitare, tra cui il museo di belle arti Städel, il Museo del cinema tedesco, il Museo di arti applicate e il Museo tedesco dell’architettura.


Il Palmengarten e il vicino parco Grüneburg, vere e proprie oasi di tranquillità, offrono uno spazio verde per fuggire dalla città.

Shopping

Per gli amanti dello shopping, i grandi magazzini e i negozi firmati della Zeil sono una tappa obbligata. Le boutique più esclusive sono invece situate sull’affascinante Goethestrasse, proprio accanto all’ingresso di Ruby Louise.


E quando è il momento di fare il pieno di energia, fai un salto dietro l’angolo nella splendida Fressgass, la cornice ideale per osservare il viavai di passanti davanti a un bicchiere di dissetante Apfelwein.
