In effetti non basterebbero mesi per vedere tutto ciò che Londra può offrire, ma anche un breve weekend è sufficiente per un significativo assaggio. Che tu decida di pernottare da Ruby Lucy, da Ruby Zoe o da Ruby Stella, non ti sarà difficile raggiungere i posti più belli di Londra.

Visita turistica

Naturalmente il selfie con il Big Ben alle spalle è di rito. Prosegui verso il Westminster Bridge per uno scatto, segui il Tamigi verso est in direzione del London Eye e dell’affollato South Bank.

Shopping

Ti piace la confusione? Non lontano dal Tamigi troverai le vivaci strade di Covent Garden, i teatri del West End e le principali vie dello shopping di Londra. Per lo shopping firmato, vai verso Oxford Street e Regent Street. Per il livello «lusso» invece la prossima tappa è Bond Street.

Royals

Se hai bisogno di riprendere fiato, in tutta Londra non mancano spazi verdi e parchi. Con il suo incantevole lago e la vista su Buckingham Palace, St James’s Park è uno dei parchi migliori.


Per un viaggio a ritroso nel tempo e per conoscere meglio il passato della nobiltà anglosassone, fai tappa alla Tower of London. Con la vista su grattacieli moderni e sull’iconico Tower Bridge, questa fortezza di quasi 1000 anni è incredibilmente ben conservata e merita una visita.

Vita notturna

Dove si dirigono i londinesi DOC quando cala la sera? Ma naturalmente verso le luci delle strade di Soho. Il quartiere è noto per la sua vastissima offerta gastronomica: fish and chips, cucina indiana e asiatica, tapas spagnole, carni argentine... Insomma: se Phileas Fogg ci ha messo 80 giorni per fare il giro del mondo in mongolfiera, tu a Soho lo puoi fare in una sera.
