The Ruby Group, under the leadership of founder and CEO Michael Struck, is breaking new ground with its Lean Luxury philosophy. With a lean organisational structure and a focus on the essentials, the Group delivers a contemporary, high-quality hotel experience at affordable prices in prime city locations - redefining how modern hospitality is built and scaled. As the company enters a new phase of expansion, following its recent strategic partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts, it is preparing for accelerated growth.

Fabian Zellinger, who has been with the Ruby Group for over six years and is a long-standing member of the executive board, has been promoted to Chief Growth & Innovation Officer (CGIO). In this role, he takes over leadership of all growth-related and technical departments, including the responsibilities previously held by Isabell Fuss, who is leaving the company to pursue new professional opportunities. Fabian Zellinger will continue to oversee his existing areas of Corporate Development, Systems, New Ventures and Workspaces. This move supports Ruby Group’s continued growth trajectory across Europe and lays the foundation for expansion into new global markets, including the United States.

Isabell Fuss has been with the Ruby Group for more than eleven years. As Group Vice President and a member of the executive board, she played a central role in building key business areas and significantly shaping the Group’s growth and success over the past decade.

Michael Struck, CEO and Founder of the Ruby Group, commented: “This is a vital step in strengthening our leadership and structure for Ruby’s next growth phase. With Fabian Zellinger taking on his new role, we are well positioned to continue our expansion across Europe and into new international markets. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Isabell Fuss for her outstanding contribution and unwavering dedication. She helped shape the foundation of our success, and we wish her all the very best for her next chapter.”
