A Weekend in Amsterdam |

Amsterdam is undoubtedly one of the busiest most vibrant cities in Europe.
From art galleries to social media museum’s, it truly has something for everyone. Home to 1000 bridges and 165 canals it is breath-taking to stroll around.

THE UPSIDE DOWN MUSEUM 

The upside-down is the largest interactive social media museum in Amsterdam and in an Instagram lover's must see! From a huge pool filled as a ball pit to The Mondriaan room inspired by Dutch painter Piet Mondrian there is something for all.

GRAB PANCAKES AT MOAK

Beginning in 2016 and opening 3 restaurants since then MOAK pancakes are not to be missed.
Their ‘philosophy is pretty simple: great food, the juiciest juices, a cool vibe, featuring mostly throwback hip-hop.’  With almost 35 Thousand followers on Instagram these all day breakfast, lunch and dinner pancakes will keep you full on your adventure through the city.

 

FIND A VINTAGE GEM AT WATERLOOPLEIN MARKET

This is the not only the oldest flea market of Amsterdam but also in the Netherlands. Waterlooplein Market was established one hundred and thirty-tree years ago it, six days a week and about three hundred stalls.

From vintage cameras to books and fashion this is a vintage lover’s dream.

BE IMMERSED IN INCREDIBLE ART

The Rijksmuseum is one of Amsterdam’s grandest and most popular museums. It showcases iconic art and a wide variety of artefacts that reflect more than 800 years of Dutch and global history, including beautiful paintings by the likes of Rembrandt, Van Gogh and countless more Dutch greats. This is also available on the I Amsterdam card but there can be a surcharge for limited exhibitions.

THE MODERN CONTEMPORARY MUSEUM MOCO

The Moco Museum is an independent museum with a wide range of inspiring modern, contemporary, and street art. Moco exhibits Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Yayoi Kusama, THE KID, Andy Warhol, to name a few.


Tickets are also free when you have an I Amsterdam card you simply need to book a slot on this website.
One adult ticket without the I Amsterdam card is €19.95

 

TRY THE WORLD’S BEST STROOPWAFELS

The Dutch cake consists of two round waffles that are baked crispy in a waffle iron. The two waffles are connected to each other by means of sweet syrup.
