New Year's Eve in London

London is always worth a trip and spending New Year's Eve here is definitely an unforgettable expierence. In order to enjoy a wonderful night and dive into the full, sparkling New Year's magic, there are a few things to keep in mind. That's why we've put together our personal tips here to make the most of your stay.

Fireworks at London Eye

For some years now it has not been possible to watch the fireworks in London as easily and spontaneously as we are used to. For security reasons, one only has access to the coveted spectator seats at the Thames with an entrance ticket. These tickets are sold via the website of the city of London.

The official event will take place from 20:00 to 0:45 and will take place at the London Eye: A New Year's Eve ticket costs 10 pounds (just over 10 euros). If you haven't got your ticket, you can watch the fireworks live on TV or pick up one of our other New Year's Eve tips.

Sexy Fish

The Sexy Fish is one of the city's most famous restaurants and the ideal place for an extraordinary New Year's Eve. The Asian restaurant is certainly not cheap, but this is hard to find on the most popular night of the year anyway. On New Year's Eve they over a great party with delicous food, cocktails and other drinks.

Bubbles at Lyaness

Due to its location alone, within walking distance of Ruby Lucy and directly on the Thames, Lyaness is one of our favourite bars in London. On New Year's Eve they've planned a bonus glass of bubbles on arrival, along with good tunes, a fun crowd, and the chance to try their brand new menu and ingredients.

If you're planning on heading down, be sure to book your space, so you get a good spot.

Casual Italian Dinner

Maremma is a sweet Tuscan restaurant in the south of London, where on New Year's Eve you get a delicious 4-course menu as well as canapés and a glass of champagne. Here you start calmly and relaxed into the new year.

There's nothing to stand in the way of your party, but there's one important thing to keep in mind: The area of Ruby Lucy is not restricted to pedestrians on the night of New Year's Eve, however there are vehicle restrictions in place from 8pm. If you have any questions, feel free to ask our team on-site for more info.

And if you haven't booked your stay yet, we still got very few rooms left so book your stay at Ruby Lucy and experience the turn of the year with us in our brand-new hotel in the British capital.
