Ruby Emma, gelegen aan een bocht in de Amstel, is ons groenste hotel tot nu toe. Van de thermische aquifer waarin ons warme water wordt opgeslagen tot de slimme gevel die reageert op de weersomstandigheden om het gebouw te verwarmen of te koelen: er stroomt altijd groene energie door de aderen van Emma.

 

In de bar vind je opwindbare of door windkracht aangedreven gadgets – plus natuurlijk een uitgebreide kaart met onze signature cocktails en lokale favorieten. Kom eens langs voor een drankje met vrienden of bezoek een van onze avonden met live muziek. Wanneer het bedtijd is, vind je in elke kamer een rustgevende oase van Lean Luxury, speciaal ingericht om jou te helpen ontspannen na een drukke dag.

 

Emma is slechts 15 minuten met de metro vanaf Amsterdam Centraal, maar de beste manier om je te verplaatsen is op twee wielen. Breng een bezoekje aan De Pijp en de vele andere bezienswaardigheden van de stad.

Energie en duurzaamheid

Geïnspireerd door zeelui die eeuwenlang hun zeilen hebben gehesen en in de krappe bochten van de Amstel de wind in hun voordeel hebben gebruikt, draait het bij Ruby Emma allemaal om het benutten van de kracht van de natuur. Van handmatig aangedreven gadgets, tot door pedalen aangedreven constructies: het gonst van de alternatieve energie in de 24-uurs bar. En wat stijl betreft, hebben we een voorbeeld genomen aan de jaren 60, toen windenergie een doorstart maakte in Amsterdam. Moderne en tweedehands items in heldere, frisse tinten en van natuurlijke materialen, laten de schoonheid van hergebruik en recycling zien.

Je hebt binnen één minuut je sleutelkaart in handen via onze handige incheckschermen aan de bar. Toch hulp nodig? Vraag het gerust aan een van onze hosts.

Ontbijt

Ons gezonde ontbijt, met een ruim aanbod aan lokale lekkernijen, wordt geserveerd in de bar. Barista koffie is er zoveel je wil.

Bar

Kom naar de relaxte bar om onze signature cocktails of lokale drankjes te proeven of een live optreden van een veelbelovende nieuwe band bij te wonen. 

Galley

Je vindt gratis thee en de mogelijkheid om te strijken op iedere verdieping, plus een Maxi Bar die van alles verkoopt, van drankjes en snacks tot paraplu’s en tandenborstels.

Ruby Bikes

De beste manier om Amsterdam te verkennen is op twee wielen, dus huur een Ruby fiets, en trappen maar. Voor lokale tips kun je terecht bij onze hosts.   

Muziek

Muziek hoort helemaal bij Ruby Emma. Daarom kun je een elektrische gitaar huren, luisteren naar Ruby Radio en liveoptredens bijwonen.

Van het luxe pocketveringmatras en het oversized beddengoed, tot de regendouche en de aromatherapieproducten van Ruby Care, alles is ontworpen met ontspanning en herstellende slaap in gedachten.     Om optimaal gebruik te maken van natuurlijke warmte en licht, passen de 819 beweegbare panelen van de slimme gevel zich aan om de temperatuur van elke afzonderlijke kamer te regelen. Dus, op heldere winterdagen gaan ze open om de warmte binnen te laten. Op warme zomerdagen gaan ze juist dicht om de kamers koel te houden, zodat we het hele jaar door energie besparen.

Hoe kom ik bij Ruby Emma?

Je vindt ons op Amstelvlietstraat 4, 1096 GG Amsterdam. Metrostation Spaklerweg ligt op een paar minuten lopen van het hotel en met de metro sta je in 15 minuten op Amsterdam Centraal. Het vliegveld ligt op ongeveer een half uur rijden van Emma, met een korte overstap onderweg.

Waar kan ik parkeren?

Ja, er is een parkeergarage onder het hotel, aan de Amstelvlietstraat 4, 1096 GG Amsterdam. Let op: benader de garage vanaf de Amstelstroomlaan en niet vanaf de Amstelvlietstraat.

 

Druk op de knop om de garage in te rijden. Als de garage vol is, zijn er voldoende parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar rond het hotel.

Hoe laat kan ik in- en uitchecken?

Inchecken kan vanaf 15:00 uur en uitchecken moet voor 11:00 uur.

 

Als je voor 15:00 uur aankomt, zullen we ons best doen om een kamer voor je te vinden. En anders kun je gerust je bagage bij ons kwijt, zodat je alvast de stad kunt gaan verkennen of wat kunt gaan drinken. 

 

Wil je uitslapen? Vraag onze hosts dan bij aankomst naar de opties voor een late check-out.

 

Inchecken doe je door zelf je gegevens in te tikken op het scherm bij de bar. Je sleutelkaart springt uit de gleuf en je kunt meteen naar je kamer. Heb je hulp nodig, dan kun je dit gewoon vragen.

 

Je hoeft niet uit te checken. Laat je sleutelkaart simpelweg achter bij de bar of in de brievenbus. We sturen de factuur voor je verblijf naar het e-mailadres dat je bij het reserveren hebt gebruikt.

Mag ik mijn hond meenemen naar het hotel?

Op vakantie met je hond? Geen probleem. Bij Ruby kun je samen met je trouwe viervoeter genieten van jullie welverdiende vakantie. Dat gaat heel gemakkelijk: kies je hotel, selecteer de categorie Wow Room en voeg een overnachting toe voor de hond. We brengen een toeslag van € 50 per nacht in rekening voor het extra schoonmaakwerk, zodat ook de volgende gasten weer een smetteloos schone kamer aantreffen.

 

Omdat jij het beste weet wat jouw huisdier nodig heeft, mag je natuurlijk altijd speeltjes, traktaties, een hondenmand en andere favoriete hondenspulletjes meebrengen.

Ik ben iets vergeten in het hotel. Wat nu?

We doen ons best om jou met je spullen te herenigen. Vul eenvoudig ons verloren-gevonden-formulier in, ons housekeepingteam controleert vervolgens of er iets is afgegeven.

 

We kunnen je verloren voorwerp bewaren tot zes maanden na je uitcheckdatum. Daarna moeten we helaas ruimte maken voor de verloren schatten van andere gasten en worden alle niet-opgehaalde voorwerpen verwijderd. Bedankt voor je begrip.

Hoe kan ik contact opnemen met het Ruby-team?

Stuur ons een bericht via onze contactpagina en we nemen zo snel mogelijk contact met je op.

Wat betekent de samenwerking van Ruby en IHG voor mij?

We zijn onlangs toegetreden tot de IHG-familie, waarmee er een wereld van nieuwe mogelijkheden opengaat. We zijn nog in de beginfase van dit partnerschap. Achter de schermen werken we hard om onze systemen op elkaar aan te sluiten en alles aan de praat te krijgen. Zoals bij elke vruchtbare samenwerking kost het wat tijd om de systemen precies op elkaar af te stemmen.

 

Wat verandert er voor mij?

 

IHG One Rewards: extra voordelen voor jou. Je kunt nu nog geen punten sparen of inwisselen bij ons of bij andere IHG-hotels, maar we werken er hard aan. Wanneer de integratie is afgerond, kun je gaan sparen en exclusieve voordelen boeken met het loyaliteitsprogramma van IHG. Neem maar van ons aan: dat is het wachten meer dan waard.

Hoe kan ik een groepsverblijf boeken?
