Wij vinden dat een hotel méér moet zijn dan alleen een bed voor de nacht. De plek waar je verblijft als je niet thuis bent, moet stijlvol en inspirerend zijn. Een karaktervolle en charmante plek, waar je zelf wel uitmaakt of je de stad in gaat of lekker binnen blijft. Een uitgekiend ingerichte ruimte die net zo goed deel gaat uitmaken van jouw reisherinneringen als dat leuke kleine koffietentje, of die mysterieuze bar waar je naar binnen glipt voor een cocktail. En als het gaat om je werkplek? Wij vinden dat die net zo goed inspirerend moet zijn. Locaties met persoonlijkheid en karakter, waar nieuwe ideeën tot leven komen en jouw werkdag wordt opgemonterd.

 

Daarom hebben we Lean Luxury gecreëerd. Door alle systemen achter de schermen te stroomlijnen en elk detail slim uit te kienen, kunnen we onvergetelijke locaties in het midden van de stad aanbieden tegen een fractie van de prijs. Sinds onze start in 2013 hebben we 20 hotels en 8 werkplekken in Europa geopend en er zijn er nog eens 14 op komst. Dus kom gerust eens langs.

Of je nu voor werk of plezier onderweg bent, wij vinden dat de plek waar je verblijft comfortabel en karaktervol moet zijn en uitstekende connecties moet hebben. Van jaren '80 kitsch tot haute couture: elk Ruby hotel heeft zijn eigen unieke verhaal en design, geworteld in de stad waar het hotel zich thuis voelt.

 

En voor maximaal comfort hebben we alle kamers ingericht met Lean Luxury accenten. Dat betekent een groot en comfortabel bed, Ruby Care producten voor aromatherapie en zachte handdoeken. Wat die connecties betreft: je vindt ons in het hart van de stad, met uitstekende vervoersverbindingen en heel veel insiderkennis van het lokale gebeuren.

Deze werkplekken in prachtige historische gebouwen hebben inspirerende ruimtes waar je comfortabel aan het werk kunt gaan. Dus geen stoffige oude kantoren meer, maar flexibiliteit, comfort en onbegrensd genieten van baristakoffie. 

 

Van een imposant bankgebouw tot een vorstelijk postkantoor: elke werkruimte is liefdevol gerestaureerd met hotdesks, privékantoren, rustige zithoekjes en vergaderruimtes met alle moderne gemakken.     Florence

    Ruby maakt zijn Italiaanse debuut: Ruby Bea Hotel & Bar en Ruby Dante Workspaces combineren Lean Luxury met de charme van Florence.

     

     

    Dublin

    Ruby Molly opent de deuren van ons eerste hotel in Ierland. Met 272 kamers en een stijlvolle bar brengen we nieuw leven in het hart van Dublin.

    München

    Ruby viert haar tiende verjaardag. We hebben 500 mensen in dienst, koesteren grootse plannen en hebben nieuwe steden in het vizier. En uiteraard genieten we van een paar cocktails tijdens dit heuglijke jubileum.
     

  • 2022

    Amsterdam

    We betreden de Nederlandse markt met de opening van Ruby Emma, ons groenste hotel tot dusver. Het verbindende thema: energie en milieu.

  • 2021

    Zürich

    Ruby arriveert in Zwitserland met de opening van Ruby Mimi. Dit hotel is gevestigd in een voormalige bioscoop en ontleent zijn inspiratie aan de allereerste Hollywood-sterren.

  • 2020

    München

    We halen de dubbele cijfers, met 10 hotels en 2 werkplekken in 3 landen. 

     

    Valletta

    We openen een tweede kantoor aan de kust van het zonnige Malta.

  • 2019

    Londen

    Het Verenigd Koninkrijk roept ons. Ruby Lucy wordt geopend. Een mooie gelegenheid om het kanaal over te steken en plezier te beleven op de Londense kermis.
     

  • 2018

    München

    Ruby wordt vijf jaar. We vieren deze heuglijke gebeurtenis met 250 teamleden.

  • 2017

    München

    We beleven ons Duitse debuut met de opening van Ruby Lilly. Daarvoor halen we de champagne, schoudervullingen en protserige kitsch van de jaren 80 uit de kast.

     

    Ruby Leo opent zijn deuren. Dit is de eerste workspace die we aanbieden én ons nieuwe kantoor, gelegen op een steenworp afstand van Ruby Lilly.

  • 2014

    Wenen

    We gaan van start met ons Oostenrijkse avontuur met de opening van ons eerste hotel, Ruby Sofie. Dit hotel is gesitueerd in een voormalig badhuis annex balzaal.

  • 2013

    München

    Ruby ziet het licht en introduceert zijn Lean Luxury-filosofie voor hotels en werkplekken in Europa en daarbuiten. Oprichter en CEO Michael Struck neemt de regie op zich.

Lean Luxury

Net als jij houden ook wij van reizen. En waar we ook naartoe gaan, we verwachten drie dingen: een goede nachtrust, een krachtige douche en uitstekende verbindingen – zowel met de stad als met de wifi. Waar we minder enthousiast over zijn, is het betalen voor allerlei extra's die we toch nooit gebruiken. In dynamische steden vol met Michelin-sterren en popup-restaurants voor foodies en fijnproevers heeft een roomservice met doorsnee sandwiches gewoon niet zoveel meerwaarde. Wij wilden het beste van twee werelden bieden: hotels met stijl en inhoud, maar zonder kostbare en onnodige extra's. Dit is wat wij Lean Luxury noemen.

 

'Luxury' staat voor ontspannen comfort in een karaktervolle omgeving, hartje stad. En met 'Lean' bedoelen we: uitgekiend gebruikmaken van de ruimte, gestroomlijnde systemen achter de schermen en het weglaten van dingen die je toch niet nodig hebt. Deze innovatieve aanpak bespaart ons en onze gasten veel geld, zonder in te leveren op comfort.
