Innenstadt

Die Altstadt ist der ideale Ort für Geschichtsenthusiasten. Hier gibt es ultra-moderne, futuristisch wirkende Architektur, malerische Gassen, den legendären Turm von St. Lambertus sowie Kunstgalerien und ein oder zwei coole Museen.


Wenn dich dein Ausflug durstig gemacht hat, solltest du dich zum Rhein begeben. An einem sonnigen Tag ist die von Cafés und Restaurants übersäte Uferpromenade der wohl begehrteste Hotspot der Stadt. Hier kannst du zusehen, wie die Schiffe vorbeischippern, während du genüsslich an deinem Altbier nippst.


Wenn du Lust auf etwas Deftiges hast, bist du am Carlsplatz genau richtig. Foodies kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten, denn hier findest du von Currywurst bis hin zu Champagner alles, was das Herz begehrt.

Shopping

Frisch gestärkt lohnt sich dann auch ein Schaufensterbummel. Die Königsallee – auch Kö‘ genannt – ist die wohl  berühmteste Boutiquenmeile Deutschlands. Die größten Namen der Modewelt zieren die Boutiquenlandschaft der Kö. Und wenn dein Budget kein Designer-Souvenir zulässt, kannst du immer noch den übrigen Shopping-Wütigen zusehen – die Kö ist in jedem Falle einen Besuch wert.

Nachtleben

Wenn der Abend naht, sind die Möglichkeiten zum Abendessen schier endlos. Für all jene, die es etwas lebhafter mögen, sind die Kneipen der Ratinger Straße ein Must-Do. „Die längste Theke der Welt“, wie sie auch genannt wird, ist eine der ältesten Straßen der Stadt und die perfekte Location für gute Drinks.
