Get ready for a whirlwind tour of Frankfurt, as your adventure kicks off right at our centrally located hotel named Louise. Start your day on the right note with a delicious and healthy breakfast crafted from locally sourced, organic ingredients – nowhere else than at Ruby Louise’s Bar. This powerhouse meal will fuel you up for a day packed with either business meetings or city sightseeing – your choice.

When the exploration bug bites head to Römerberg, only a 5-minute walk from Ruby Louise. The Römer has been Frankfurt's town hall and the centre of municipal politics since the 15th century. With its characteristic stepped gable façade, it is one of its most iconic landmarks in Frankfurt. The middle building of the originally three independent buildings on Römerberg is the actual Haus zum Römer. But for centuries now, the term Römer has been used to refer to the entire city hall complex.

Gaze at what’s most likely to be Frankfurt's Number 1 highlight: the Mainhattan skyline. The skyscrapers of the national and international banks have earned Frankfurt the playful nickname Mainhattan (‘Main’ = name of the river by Frankfurt + ‘hattan’ = ending of the term ‘Manhatten’). Elevate your experience by heading up to the Main Tower's public viewing platform for a panorama of glittering skyscrapers. The breathtaking view 198 m above the ground will have your camera working overtime. For a truly magical experience featuring not only the sunset but also Frankfurt's thousands of shining lights, we recommend visiting Main Tower during or after sunset.

If art and culture are more your speed, consider a visit to the Museum of Modern Art or the Städel Museum – both cultural gems waiting to be explored. Say hello to the Schiller monument or look around the green oasis opening up at the Taunustor with large trees, small steps, and benches, along with the remains of old ramparts. Find Georg Kolbe's monument in honour of Beethoven perched on the hill, which was the former top of the bastion. This is also the place where Frankfurt’s soccer stars are celebrated when they win a cup. If you care for beats rather than ball sports, visit the Alte Oper at Opernplatz, the old opera house showing a variety of great plays and concerts.

But that’s not all – MyZeil, the city's largest shopping mall, is just around the corner, ready to satisfy all your retail cravings. If you're still on the hunt for more, make your way to Goethestrasse, just steps away from Ruby Louise Hotel & Bar.
