Fairground meets circus

In an area famed for its pleasures – both genteel and guilty – we’ve taken inspiration from the fly-by-night world of markets and fairgrounds. To capture that fleeting moment of excitement and excess, we’ve sprinkled a little carnival magic throughout our design. Rich, dark tones meet bright brass accents and subtle stripes are set off by circus drums and juggling pins.

How do I get to Ruby Lucy?

You'll find us at 100-108 Lower Marsh, London, SE1 7AB.


We're a five-minute walk from Waterloo station, which is on four Tube lines. Heathrow and Gatwick airports are under an hour away, with a quick change en route.


You'll also find trains to destinations across the south, along with buses, boats and bikes for exploring the city.

Is there anywhere to park?

Waterloo Car Park is a four-minute walk away, and you can book a space in advance.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 11am.


If you arrive before 3pm, we'll do our best to find you a room. Otherwise, we'll happily look after your bags while you go exploring or grab a drink.


Fancy a lie in? Just ask our hosts for late check-out options when you arrive.


To check in, look for the screen at the bar and tap in your details. Your key card will pop out the slot and you can head straight to your room. If you need any help, just ask.


There's no need to check out. Simply leave your key card at the bar or in the drop box. We'll send the invoice for your stay to the email address you used when booking.

Left something behind? We'll do our best to reunite you. Just fill in our lost and found form and our housekeeping team will check if it's been handed in.
