Stepping through the doors of Ruby Lilly is like stepping back in time, to the age of champagne and shoulder pads: the glittering 1980s. Accompanying us every loafer-clad step of the way is the inimitable Monaco Franze, Der ewige Stenz himself. In fact, Lilly’s named after his one unrequited love. From cassette tapes and vintage TVs to a champagne chandelier, Lilly’s look pokes affectionate fun at that unmistakeable era and its glitzy schickeria set.

How do I get to Ruby Lilly?

You'll find us at Dachauer Strasse 37, 80335 Munich. 


Ruby Lilly is a ten-minute walk from Munich's main station, which is 45 minutes from the airport by S-Bahn. 


Königsplatz U-Bahn station is a five-minute walk away, and Stiglmaierplatz U-Bahn and tram stop are right outside.

Is there anywhere to park?

We have a small car park at Ruby Lilly, but spaces are first come, first served and we can’t guarantee you a spot. 


When you arrive, park outside the hotel, come in to the bar and we’ll explain how it works. 


There are some parking spaces on the surrounding streets, but remember you’ll need a ticket and there’s often a limit on how long you can stay.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 11am.


If you arrive before 3pm, we'll do our best to find you a room. Otherwise, we'll happily look after your bags while you go exploring or grab a drink.


Fancy a lie in? Just ask our hosts for late check-out options when you arrive.


To check in, look for the screen at the bar and tap in your details. Your key card will pop out the slot and you can head straight to your room. If you need any help, just ask.


There's no need to check out. Simply leave your key card at the bar or in the drop box. We'll send the invoice for your stay to the email address you used when booking.

What are the opening times of the roof terrace?

Our pretty roof terrace awaits you daily, from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 am to 10:00 pm. Grab your coffee, your favourite drink or a snack at the bar on the ground floor and then get cozy and soak in the laid-back vibes high above the skyline of Munich. In the evening, our roof terrace is the perfect place to end your day in style with a refreshing cocktail while watching the sunset.
