Inspired by the vineyards that surround Stuttgart, Ruby Hanna is a love letter to the region's centuries-old wine-making story. That's why, when it comes to design, we've charted the trade’s transition from sorcery to modern science, with copper stills and antique casks.

Ruby Hanna is a stone's throw from the stylish shops of Königstrasse and pretty Schlossgarten. And, if you feel the need for speed, the Mercedes Benz Museum and the Porsche Museum are within easy reach.

Alchemy meets design

Encircled by vineyards, Stuttgart has for centuries been a centre of wine production. Inspired by the industry’s early, alchemistic days, the 24-hour bar at Ruby Hanna is an atmospheric spot to stop for a snifter or two. From old oak casks to vintage vats, test tubes to weights and measures, the décor charts the journey from grape to glass, and from ancient days to the modern age. For a finishing touch, crushed velvets in rich, jewel tones meet smoked glass, dark wood and aged leather to create a moody, vintage vibe.

Good to know

How do I get to Ruby Hanna?

You'll find us at Sophienstrasse 21, 70178 Stuttgart – the car access is via Paulinenstrasse.


Ruby Hanna is halfway between Stadtmitte and Österreichischer Platz stations, and Stuttgart’s main station is one stop away. From there, you can be at the airport in around 40 minutes by U-Bahn.

Is there anywhere to park?

We don't have our own car park, but Ruby Hanna guests get an exclusive discount at "B+B Parkhaus - Tiefgarage Gerber Viertel", in the same building as the hotel. Simply park your car, take a regular ticket, then ask a Ruby host to exchange it for a Ruby ticket.


The discount is valid from 3pm on the day of arrival until 11am on the day of departure.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 11am.


If you arrive before 3pm, we'll do our best to find you a room. Otherwise, we'll happily look after your bags while you go exploring or grab a drink.


Fancy a lie in? Just ask our hosts for late check-out options when you arrive.


To check in, look for the screen at the bar and tap in your details. Your key card will pop out the slot and you can head straight to your room. If you need any help, just ask.


There's no need to check out. Simply leave your key card at the bar or in the drop box. We'll send the invoice for your stay to the email address you used when booking.

Can I bring my dog to the hotel?

Vacation with your dog? Absolutely – at Ruby, you can enjoy your best travel moments with your loyal companion. The process is simple: choose your desired hotel, select the Wow Room category, and book a spot for your four-legged friend. Your dog can stay for 30 EUR per stay.


Since you know best what your furry friend likes, feel free to bring along treats, toys, a bed, and other favorite items.

Lost & found

Left something behind? We'll do our best to reunite you. Just fill in our lost and found form and our housekeeping team will check if it's been handed in.


We can store your lost item for up to six months after your check-out date. After that, we’ll need to make room for the lost treasures of other guests and dispose of any unclaimed belongings. Thank you for your understanding.
